Eco-Psychology

Eco-Psychology therapy integrates principles of ecopsychology, somatic awareness, and art therapy to support healing through connection with the natural world. These sessions take place outdoors, where nature can become an active co-facilitator in the therapeutic process.

Grounded in nervous system regulation, we begin with simple practices like walking mindfully, orienting to the environment, or sitting in stillness. These rhythms help settle the body, allowing space for deeper emotional insight and co-regulation with the earth.

You may be invited to engage creatively, using natural materials to create, reflect, or express internal experience. Together, we explore what arises: grief, resilience, clarity, or memory, often mirrored in the landscape around us. Nature becomes a gentle mirror and companion in your healing journey.

Movement Based Therapy

Movement-based therapy offers a dynamic, experential, embodied approach to recovery and discovery. Whether one-on-one or in a group setting, these sessions use intentional movement to support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and a deeper connection to self.Movement becomes a practice or ritual, helping us process and shift old patterns, and return to ourselves more fully.

Depending on your needs and interests, sessions may include:

  • Surf therapy – Using the ocean’s rhythm, challenge, and play to build resilience, presence, and trust.

  • Walking sessions – Gentle, grounded movement outdoors to support regulation, spaciousness, and flow in processing.

  • Therapeutic movement – Breath-based, accessible postures to support integration, safety, and embodiment. Using intuitive, creative movement to explore emotion, release tension, and awaken aliveness.

Somatic therapy invites you into deeper relationship with your body, nervous system, and inner world. These one-on-one sessions offer a gentle, trauma-informed space to explore emotions, sensations, and the parts of you that may not have had the chance to be fully seen or heard, at a pace that feels safe.

Together, we work from the bottom up. starting with what’s present in your body, rather than jumping straight into analysis or story. Sessions may include grounding techniques, breathwork, guided movement, visualization, and supportive touch points, all tailored to your unique needs and pace.

This work helps build capacity to stay with difficult emotions, release stored tension, and reconnect with your body as a safe and wise ally. Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, or seeking deeper self-awareness, somatic therapy supports healing through presence and witnessing.
